Aquatic Ecology perform research at a multitude of organizational levels, from molecules to organisms and from individual behaviours to ecosystem processes. Conservation is generally held to include the management of human use of natural resources for current public benefit and sustainable social and economic utilization
Technical consultants and experts accredited by the Department of Science and Technology (DOST), mainly from the academe and the private sector, who are deployed by the DOST Regional Offices to qualified MSMEs where they identify areas for improvement and propose solutions to address them. These consultants are provided with consultancy fees as well asother support such as reimbursement of travel expenses.
